Dragon = support gear on a general; a well-developed dragon adds +100 to attributes and larger buffs than a beast (theoretical +60-125% vs a beast's ~+30-52%). 14 dragons in 3 classes: Pasture (Celtic Demon, Jawzahr, Fafnir, Fasolt, Radiantwyrm), Sacred (Norway Ridge, Thebes, Nidhogg, Ladon, Amaterasu, Colchian, Ziz, Yggdrasil), Elder (Gorynych). Primary role by dragon: Celtic Demon=Ranged; Jawzahr=Ranged/Mounted/Defense; Fafnir=Mounted/Siege; FASOLT=BOSS HUNT (Mounted), Ground -- its Talent II is 'Mounted Troop Attack on Monsters' (an against-monster buff), making it THE monster-hunting dragon; Radiantwyrm/Ziz/Nidhogg=Mounted; Norway Ridge/Amaterasu=Ground; Thebes/Yggdrasil=Wall Defender; Ladon/Gorynych=Ranged; Colchian=Siege. For a mounted boss-hunter: Fasolt is the goal dragon; before that use the Bird of Hurricane beast. Recommended monster-hunt mounted dragon at every spend tier = Fasolt. Attaching a dragon to an Assistant/Duty Officer gives no buff (only power); on a Mayor the debuff works if the sub-city joins. Some generals only trigger skills with a dragon and may specify the type (e.g. Isabella I needs a Sacred Dragon). How to get: Celtic Demon = Pasture Lv26 + 300,000 gems; Fafnir = Pasture Lv30 + 1,400 Dragon Crystals; Fasolt/Jawzahr/Radiantwyrm = Dragon Pattern (Wheel of Dragon War, ~$340/dragon); Sacred/Elder from Wonder levels + All-Star Battlefield ranking eggs. Train by Refine FIRST (cheap big buffs, e.g. Lv1 Celtic Demon ~+60% attack), then Level (feeding: resources/gold/gems/materials/refining stones), then Talent. Hold off leveling dragons until general equipment is developed.
